The summer workshop is going on in International Turkish Hope School, Dhaka, Bangladesh, for its faculty members, prior to starting of its new academic year. In this procedure, on this 24th July 2017 a session took place at ITHS Main Campus Auditorium, situated at Sector 4 Uttara, where the guest speaker was Major General Md. Abdur Rashid (Retd), Executive Director of Institute of Conflict, Law & Development Studies. Maj. Gen. Rashid has addressed the teachers & other concerns of ITHS. The Topic of his presentation was "Role of Teachers to Prevent Violent Extremism".
Gen. Rashid has elaborately explained to all attendees how teachers may take over a vital role to build up a new generation protecting from radical ideas and leading towards a peaceful world.
The previous sessions took place from 19th July 2017 where one was conducted by Mr. Zunayed Rahman, Deputy Director of Exams of the British Council titled as “Orientation on new trends and recent updates for Int'l Qualification Examinations”. In this mentioned session, the Guest Speaker has updated the teaching staffs of ITHS regarding the recent developments in exam areas of British Curriculum.
ITHS faculties were also updated regarding the Australian education system in a session held on 20th July 2017, entitled as “Educational Opportunities in Australia” delivered by Mr. Mostafizur Rahman, Business Development Manager of Australian Trade and Investment Commission, Bangladesh. The prospects of pursuing education in Australia, and the requirements from the student’s end, were brought to limelight in the session
