On December 15, 2016, International Turkish Hope School’s Senior Girls Section observed the 45th year of Victory of the country through a grandiose program at the ITHS Auditorium.
In the presence of the Honorable Chief Guest Adv. Tarana Halim MP, The State Minister for Posts, Telecommunication & Information Technology the program commenced with recitation of the National Anthem. After an introductory speech by the Honorable Chairman of ITHS, Mr. Bedrettin Suata, a vibrant display of a colorful cultural show in the form of dance, patriotic songs, poems and a short drama, accentuated the history, the sacrifice made during the liberation war and the meaning as well as the joy of achieved freedom of Bangladesh.
To pay deep homage to the martyrs, the students of ITHS Senior Girls Section put forth the performances, which have shed light on the struggles and hardships faced from within and outside by the freedom fighters and their families.
The Honorable Chief Guest awarded the students who stood first in the Victory Day Story and Poem Writing Competitions in Bangla during the program. The program was concluded with the valuable, informative and inspiring speech of the Honorable Chief Guest followed by presentation of crests and gifts of appreciation to the honorable guests.
