Bangladesh may be small among the geographically dominating countries surrounding it; its soul is mightier and has grown stronger with every passing year since the time of the liberation war in 1971. The gruelling war lasted for long months between millions of commoners and West Pakistan and saw a bloody ending that left the country victorious but in desolation. Since then the people of this nation have demonstrated momentous progress in every developmental sector. And every year, to celebrate the triumph that was brought to us on the 16th of December, 1971, International Turkish Hope School celebrates the Victory Day with fervour.
On December 11, 2016 ITHS Gulshan Junior Section organised the Victory Day Cultural programme to commemorate the special occasion. The campus was packed full of guests made it to the program to witness a wide range of performances. The event was honoured by the Honourable fighter (Red.) Lt. Col. Mr. Chowdhury Mohammed Ali and his inspirational speech.
